The kind of therapy I offer is a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: is a type of therapy that helps people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions. Cognitive-behavioral therapy focuses on changing the automatic negative thoughts that can contribute to and worsen emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety.
These spontaneous negative thoughts have a detrimental influence on mood. Through CBT, these thoughts are identified, challenged, and replaced with more objective, realistic thoughts.
Positive Psychology: focuses on supporting your inner resources to overcome challenges, understand and recognize areas of growth, and focus instead on working towards resilience and a greater sense of wellbeing.
I believe in an interactive approach where you will be able to share everything you want to share and we will work together towards reaching the goals you want to reach.
Furthermore my approach is Holistic as I believe that in treating the mind and behavior, it is very important to look at the bigger picture and take physical health, lifestyle, environment, relationships, ect. Into consideration. In other words, I take into account the relationship between mind, body, and spirit
